How to become a member

UnitedSucces sees the world as one and all women as equal. 
Therefore we only offer one category of ‘member’.

You qualify for membership when you are

• A woman business owner
• A 51% or more shareholder in your business
• A decision maker within your business
• Credible
• In agreement with the UnitedSucces values
  
  

If you don't meet the above mentioned criteria but want to become a member, UnitedSucces may consider exceptional applicants. For example:

• A woman business owner is in partnership with her husband/partner and although she owns less than 51% shares in the business, she is running the business and is the decision maker
• Four women are equal partners in a business and although they hold 25% shares each, they wish to become members of UnitedSucces
• A woman needs financing for her business to grow. She chooses to obtain private equity. Very likely she finds herself not being the majority shareholder anymore after a second round of funding by the other shareholders, but she still runs the business.
  
  

Membership fee

To sustain a flourishing worldwide network, an annual membership fee is charged. The membership fee varies per region of the world. For example, it is 1.200 Euros per annum in Northern Europe and in South Africa it will be 800 Euros. Four fee categories are applicable: 1.200, 1.000, 800, and 600 Euros. The membership fee is payable annually on the anniversary of the date that the member joined UnitedSucces. For example, if a member pays her fees on 01 December 2009, her fee falls due again on 01 December 2010.  In exceptional cases periodical payments may be allowed by UnitedSucces.

Necessary steps

• Targeted business owners are invited to join UnitedSucces; or
  Interested business owners submit their contact details on the website;
• UnitedSucces makes contact by telephone, e-mail or in person;
• As the credibility of the network is essential, UnitedSucces will call on one of her partners, a global advisory firm, to run the necessary checks on an applicant's business;
• UnitedSucces will forward an invoice, together with a code of ethics to the applicant to be signed and returned to UnitedSucces;
• Once the membership fee has been paid, the member will receive her sign-in details and she will have immediate access to the other members, as well as to all the member benefits.
